New England Carpenters Health Benefits Notice
3/21/2019

Important notice regarding health coverage for Local 1121 members in MA, VT, NH, RI and ME:

Healthcare coverage provided by the New England Carpenters Health Benefits Fund, in addition to other eligibility rules for coverage under Plans I and II, requires that you must be a member of a Local Union affiliated with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.

Notices were sent out on March 19th, 2019 to those who have been identified as being suspended from membership in their Local Union, or those who the Fund was unable to verify membership status at this time. If you receive this letter in the mail, please contact the fund office at 1 (800) 344-1515 (either the Central Collections department at extension 8884 or the Member Services department at extension 8889) to verify that you are a member of a Local Union affiliated with the UBC. If you were a member of a Local Union in the past but are no longer affiliated with the Union, please contact the Local about resuming your membership if you wish to continue your eligibility. Should you fail to do so, your health coverage will be in jeopardy of being cancelled.

If you are not a member of a Local due to never initiating into the Union then please contact the New England Regional Council of Carpenters at 1-800-275-6200.
